Uniform Expectations for CTE Programs
We celebrate your individuality and personal style. However, each CTE program has specific uniform requirements for safety and to reflect professional standards. Uniform/dress code choices must adhere to the following guidelines set by the Board of Education:
- Safety First: Uniforms must meet safety standards and not present health hazards.
- Professional Appearance: Attire should demonstrate professionalism and support the learning environment.
- Policy Adherence: The school's dress code will help maintain order and protect school property.
Staff will model appropriate attire and enforce the dress code fairly. The Dean will oversee the enforcement of these policies, ensuring a fair and respectful approach for all students.

Campus Specific Dress Code:
Shorts, sandals/open toed shoes, and tank tops are NOT PERMITTED to be worn by students at any time.

Uniforms for several of our programs are often available through some of the following retailers: Wal-Mart, Target, Gabe’s, Amazon, etc. Many of our program uniforms are also available through Cintas uniform company. - Any color athletic sweat/windbreakers/warm-ups or yoga pant (no jeans)
- Footwear: Sneakers and dress shoes
- *Must have at least one change of fitness attire and sneakers available for lab activities, like what is expected for physical education class. Shorts are permitted for these activities during lab only, as they are prohibited throughout the school at any time. Students should have a change of clothes available which include any combination of the following: Sneakers, fitness bottoms and fitness tops.

- Senior- students may wear scrub top and pants of choice (color/print)

- Blue jeans or work pants (no designer jeans, no rips or tears)
- Composite or steel toe safety shoe (no athletic/gym/tennis shoes)
- At least one Black polo shirt for job interviews and field trips

- Forest green short/long sleeve button down and/or pocket t-shirt
- Blue jeans- no rips or frays

- Steel toe, waterproof boots (6” high recommended)
- Students are required to have a change of shoes when not in the lab
- Highly recommended - a pair of steel-toed muck boots and a spare uniform to leave in their lockers for muddy days
