Industry-recognized Credentials

Earn Industry-recognized Credentials

At Great Oaks, students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials (certifications or licenses) that demonstrate they have the knowledge and skills needed to begin a career. Industry-recognized credentials are developed by experts in industry and are used as a way to measure what potential and current employees know about their field. It is important to understand that these are not high school tests, but professional exams developed by experts in each career pathway and frequently require additional study/work to successfully complete.

The chart below lists possible career credentials and graduation points that students can earn. All Great Oaks career technical programs offer students the opportunity to complete CPR/First Aid training. Industry credentials can be a key part in meeting graduation requirements in Ohio.
