Park & Recreation Management

The Park & Recreation program at Live Oaks will teach you how to create and manage public parks and green spaces. You’ll learn about different types of trees and how to care for them, as well as how to manage wildlife and protect natural resources. You’ll also study business and marketing to understand how to run a successful park or recreation facility. You’ll practice using tools like chainsaws and ropes for tree care, and you’ll learn about environmental regulations and safety procedures. By the end of this course, you’ll be prepared to design, operate, and maintain public recreational spaces.
