FOOD SERVICE

Proper nutrition is essential for success in school and in life. The Great Oaks Food Service staff are dedicated to ensuring that all students have healthy, fresh, delicious, and nutritious meals. Each cafeteria strives to promote healthy eating habits among students by combining whole grains, low-fat dairy options, fresh fruits and vegetables and low sodium products in every breakfast and lunch per the USDA National School Lunch Program guidelines. More information about the National School Lunch Program is available here.

Great Oaks participates in the USDA’s National School Lunch Program. Each campus cafeteria offers breakfast and lunch each day as well as ala carte items. Free and Reduced application link is available below under Ohio Resources, through the Payschools Central App as well as a hardcopy in Student Services. School counselors can assist with this process as necessary. Everyone is encouraged to fill out an application form (income eligibility guidelines are available below). Translated copies of the Free and Reduced application in multiple languages are available upon request.

Please note: Home school district's Free & Reduced Applications DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFER to Great Oaks Career Campuses. If your student attends one of the Great Oaks campuses, a separate application should be completed for the Great Oaks School District.
