Health Technology

Health Technology provides a broad-based knowledge of the healthcare field and various health care careers. You will have the opportunity to learn many technical skills, such as taking vital signs, medical terminology, body mechanics, and infection control. You can become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and can earn a national certification for patient care technician. You could also earn a national certification in medical assisting or phlebotomy. These will allow you to start working in a medical facility right away. You may also choose to continue your education to pursue another career in the medical field, such as nursing, radiology, physical therapy, or pharmacology.
