Happy Friday, Live Oaks Families,
The 2nd quarter started off strong this week with student-led CTSO meetings on Wednesday afternoon and all FOUR of our JROTC Raider teams leaving Thursday morning for their National Competition at Fort Knox. These young people work ridiculously hard all year long and we are incredibly proud of them. We look forward to welcoming them back Sunday evening.
Next week is Student Council Spirit Week. Students must still maintain the school dress code. Shorts, crop tops and tank tops are not allowed. Students should speak with their lab instructor directly about what is acceptable for safety within the lab setting.
First quarter grades are posted in Progress Book. Over the next week or two, students with a 3.0 or higher will be recognized in their lab for their academic success by their counselors and deans.
Have a great weekend!
Dr. Amy Crouse
Dean of Instruction
