MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Happy Friday, Live Oaks families,

What a week we had!

We welcomed back our JROTC Wolfpack from Army National Raider competition in Fort Knox with our all female and all male team both bringing home another national championship. The mixed team had a great showing with 11th place. We are incredibly proud of these young people who work REALLY hard all year round. We also welcomed back our HOSA state competitors who performed very well and brought back 2 state champions: Ava Wellage in Veterinary Science and Audrey Hufford in Sports Medicine.

Our students showed off their knowledge and professionalism throughout the week with many visitors including 8th graders from CNE, guests from across the country attending a National Career Tech event and the Anderson Township Historical Society to continue to grow our partnership. We also hosted our annual Favorite Affiliate School Teacher event where students with the best essays about a favorite teacher get to invite that teacher to Live for celebration and appreciation. Students in Ms. Perry's forensics classes were treated to demonstration and presentation of how dogs help with policework by Miami Township.

Today marked the midpoint of the 4th quarter and we are completing End of Course testing next week. Tuesday 4/28 is the Government EOC. Seniors will be on work-based learning as we need all staff to help with proctoring.

Have a great weekend!

INVEST IN OUR STUDENTS' FUTURE

Great Oaks Career Campuses do not charge tuition or school fees as part of our mission to make career technical education more widely available. Other than uniforms, there are no costs to participate in our programs. This year, instead of asking for traditional school fees as required at your home schools, we're
inviting you to invest directly in something that makes a real impact—our Career
& Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs).

These student-led organizations develop leadership, technical skills, and real-world readiness that prepare our students for college and careers. From competitions to community servlce to professional development, your support fuels everything we do.

  • Local News Stations: The closure will be reported through local television and radio outlets.
To ensure you get the quickest notification of any school closure, please take a moment to verify that you are actively receiving notices from us via ParentSquare.
  • If you're not receiving them, or are unsure, please log into your account or contact the school office for assistance.

About ParentSquare

To make sure we have consistent communication with parents and staff, Great Oaks Career Campuses uses ParentSquare, a safe and secure platform for all school-to-home communication. We use it to send important robocalls, text messages, and emails from the district and individual schools.

An account is automatically created for each parent using the preferred email address and phone number that they have on file with their Live Oaks. We encourage all parents to register for and log in to their accounts to set up their notification preferences.

Stay Connected

  4. You may sign up through the email invitation you may have received through ParentSquare or you may sign in to ParentSquare using your contact information (email or phone number) that is on file for your student at their school.
  5. Update your settings
  6. Getting too many calls? Don't want texts? Once you are registered, you can change your notification settings to fit your needs.
  7. Make sure emails are getting through
