2026 Senior Ceremony Information

END OF YEAR EXPECTATIONS
Our Seniors’ last day of school is Monday, May 11, 2026. Please remember, fourth quarter grades are part of your student’s high school transcript, and students must meet all course requirements to earn their high school diploma. All school rules and regulations are still in effect through the conclusion of Senior Ceremony. Any financial obligations your student may have at either Diamond or their affiliated school must be paid by Monday, May 4, 2026, for transfer of credits to occur.

SENIOR CEREMONY
Senior Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Truist Arena on Northern Kentucky University (NKU) Campus. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. Doors open at 3:00 pm. The address is 500 Louie B. Nunn Dr. Highland Heights, KY 41099. Tickets are not required for the event.

·    Student Dress Code: All students will be required to wear a graduation gown. Students should either wear their homeschool graduation gowns or make arrangements with their Diamond Oaks’ counselor to borrow a Diamond Oaks’ gown.  These gowns are limited and need to be reserved as soon as possible.  Underneath their graduation gowns, all students should wear business casual attire. We ask that students not wear jeans or gym shoes to Senior Ceremony.
o Ladies should wear slacks, a skirt, or a dress. Skirts and dresses should come within 4 inches from the bend of the knee. Blouses and dresses should have sleeves.
o Gentleman should wear dress pants and shirt with a collar.
o All students should wear dress shoes. Students will be walking up and down steps, so shoes with high heels are not recommended.
·    Parking Directions: Students and their families park in the Welcome Center Garage, Lot D or Lot O.
·    Student Arrival: Students must arrive at 3:15 pm to begin our line-up. Doors open at 3:00 pm. Once students arrive at the designated location, they are to follow the directions of their teachers, counselors, and assistant deans.
·    Respectful Behaviors: We want all families to hear their students’ names called as they walk across the stage. Please be mindful and respectful of others and hold your applause and cheers until we are done announcing all of the students within your student’s program.
·    Non-Attendance: Students not attending the Senior Ceremony may pick up their Passports and Certifications from the front desk of Diamond Oaks beginning Monday, May 18, 2026 at 7:30 am.
·    Clear Bag Policy: Please note the clear bag policy as well as any prohibited items that aren’t allowed in the arena at the bottom of your map.

Please contact your counselor with questions. Also, please download the NKU map for your reference.

Senior Laptop Turn-In & Charger Replacement

Before seniors graduate, they must turn in their laptops AND chargers. Neglecting to turn in either your laptop or charger will incur a fee applied to your student account.

  • Paying Student Services: Not turning in a charger results in a $55 surcharge to student accounts.

  • Online Purchase: We do give the option of purchasing a charger on your own and turning that charger in at the end of your time at Diamond. If you choose this route, you will need to make sure you purchase a 65W USB-C charger, which can be located here - 65W USB-C Laptop Charger.

We will be collecting senior laptops during the seniors' last week of school, starting on Monday, May 4th. We will send out a schedule to students and staff so they know when their lab is to turn in their laptops. We are not collecting junior laptops this year.

Mind Peace Wellness Guide

Mind Peace developed a wellness guide (please see attached) to assist juniors and seniors with transition. While Best Point will provide seniors with a transition folder and plan, the wellness guide is a great resource for all graduating seniors. Mind Peace is aiming to also increase awareness and encourage any rising seniors and parents to reach out for services over the summer or early in the fall.
