Career-Technical Assurance Guide (CTAG)
Career-Technical Assurance Guide (CTAGS)
CTAGs award college credit for career-technical coursework taken in high school or at a career-technical institution. You are eligible to earn college credit at an Ohio public college or university if you have completed approved career-technical courses in high school or at an Ohio Technical Center.
Courses that qualify may be converted to college credit if these conditions are met:
- You successfully complete your career-technical courses and pass the WebXams and/or industry credentials. (WebXams are the end-of-course assessments.)
- Enroll in a public Ohio college or university that offers career majors with aligned courses. To see whether your chosen school has aligned courses, go to Career Technical | Transfer Credit Ohio. You must enroll within three years of high school graduation.
- The CTAG credits earned are communicated from Great Oaks directly to the college or university using your Statewide Student Identifier Number (SSID#). When enrolling, be sure to share this information with the admissions and/or your academic advisor. If needed, your SSID# can be found on your high school transcript.
