MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Dear Live Oaks Families,

We are officially halfway through the school year. When students return on Tuesday, January 6, we will begin the second semester. We had such a fun week with spirit days and visits from Oakley the Squirrel and Gingy, the Gingerbread Man We had an incredibly successful Local Competition Day on Wednesday, and you can see those results here in the newsletter. Well over 200 students competed in individual lab competitions or Leadership competitions like speeches, bulletin board displays, interviewing and job skill demonstrations. Some winners will advance to regional competitions after the first of the year. Check out our social media to see pictures.

Coming up next semester will be the Live Oaks Prom on Saturday, March 14. Spring Break is March 27 - April 5. For our seniors, Senior Ceremony is May 12, 2026. It will be here before you know it. Students graduate from their home school so make sure you're watching those emails for information regarding their graduation. We have a senior ceremony to celebrate student accomplishments here at Live Oaks. We encourage students to participate in both.

In the meantime, I hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday break.

See you next year!

INVEST IN OUR STUDENTS' FUTURE

Great Oaks Career Campuses do not charge tuition or school fees as part of our mission to make career technical education more widely available. Other than uniforms, there are no costs to participate in our programs. This year, instead of asking for traditional school fees as required at your home schools, we're
inviting you to invest directly in something that makes a real impact—our Career
& Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs).

These student-led organizations develop leadership, technical skills, and real-world readiness that prepare our students for college and careers. From competitions to community servlce to professional development, your support fuels everything we do.
