Welcome to Live Oaks! We’re pleased that you chose us for your next step in life.

Students, we know your time here will be enjoyable and productive. You’ll make new friends here, you’ll have the chance to use professional and advanced technology in your career lab, and you’ll be treated and trusted like the adults that you are becoming.

Parents and guardians, we appreciate the chance to partner with you for students’ success.  I hope that you will contact me if I can help you in any way.

Application Status

Please contact Career Specialist Terri Rothfuss at regarding any questions or concerns about the following:

  • Acceptance to Live Oaks (this is dependent on students maintaining an “on track for graduation” status)
  • Checking on current status
  • Switching assigned program
  • Staying at home school

Absence from School

  • Students must follow the Live Oaks calendar – NOT their home school calendar
  • Students are expected to be present during the entire school day 7:50 am – 2:18 pm
  • Parents/guardians are to report absences by 8:30 am by calling 513.612.4925
  • Should more than 10 excused parental absences occur, a doctor’s note or court note is required for the absence to be excused
  • Consequences will be given for excessive tardies and/or unexcused absences
  • Instructors may require missed hours to be made up. Work missed from an unexcused absence may receive a penalty or not be graded

Building Security

Student safety is a priority. Doors to the school are locked during the school day; visitors must show ID at the front desk upon entering the building.  Each campus has a full-time School Resource Officer who is a member of our local law enforcement agency, and cameras throughout the building are monitored during the school day for everyone’s protection.

  • Cafeteria Price List
  • EZ Pay. will be available for deposits to students’ lunch account once the student has been assigned a student identification number. Beginning in August 2021, the Live Oaks cafeteria will operate using a cashless system.
  • Free/Reduced lunch
  • Live Oaks is a closed campus which means students MAY NOT leave for lunch
  • Students cannot order food and have it delivered.

Changes in Information

It is the student's responsibility to let Live Oaks know of any changes in contact information including address, email addresses, phone numbers (of student, parent, guardian, emergency contacts.)  Please be aware that your child’s home school may require Proof of Residency if you are changing an address.  We appreciate you informing us of an address change, but must also direct you to contact the home school.

Changes are to be reported to Student Services as soon as possible at 513.612.4912.

Child Focus

Child Focus school-based services are supported by levy dollars from the Clermont County Mental Health and Recovery Board.  School counselors, teachers, or the school administration can refer students to these services.  Students may also go directly to Student Services and request services on their own at any time.
