Project SEARCH - Transition for Students with Disabilities

Project SEARCH is a unique workforce development program designed for students with disabilities.

Project SEARCH is a one-year transition-to-work program that prepares students with disabilities for employment through real-life work experience and employability training. You will learn about independent living skills needed for a successful transition to adult life. The immersive workplace training program combines classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on learning through actual business partner worksite rotations. During the school year, you will rotate through three non-paid internship sites to learn work skills needed for the world of work. When you complete the program, you may seek employment in career paths that match your skills and interests.
