About me:
I have been a police officer since 1999. Although I worked full time as a patrol officer, I specialized in community relations. I also served as a school resource officer at Deer Park HS and a DARE officer at Amity Elementary. I created the Junior Police Academy and ran the Deer Park PAL (police activities league) to help guide at-risk youth. I received the OHIO ACTE Outstanding New CTE Teacher of the Year award for the state in 2018.

The best thing about being a teacher is making a positive impact on a student's life and learning. My classroom is always interesting! One day we are doing traffic stops, the next we are processing a crime scene!
