Important:  Senior Ceremony notes

This information is for our seniors and their families who will be participating in our senior ceremony on Wednesday, May 19th at 6:30pm.  First, everyone needs to arrive no later than 6pm, but no earlier than 5:30pm to the Scarlet Oaks campus.  We ask families to carpool, ideally one car per family.  We will have staff to help with parking directions.  You are welcome to drop family members off for seating. Graduates will need to meet in the commissary with their lab instructors.  Our ceremony will take place in the north lot, with parking in our south and east lots.  At present the weather looks promising and we hope it stays that way. We do have a rain plan in case we cannot be outside.  I will do a call and email on Tuesday night confirming our location for the ceremony.  For those who requested extra tickets, those will be given to students on Monday or Tuesday.  We met with students today to go over dress expectations, essentially asking them to dress as they would for a job interview as this is a formal celebration of success.  Review this PowerPoint presentation for additional information.  Masks will be required at all times for this event.  We are looking forward to a great event next week to celebrate the Scarlet Oaks Class of 2021!

About inclement weather/snow days:  When area schools are affected by inclement weather, we understand that transportation may be an issue.  If your Great Oaks campus is open but your home school is closed, you are not required to report to school.  You may follow the schedule set for that day by your home school. More information here.
