Michelle Coleman

About me:

I have been a Registered Nurse for 14 years. My bachelor's degree is in Science and Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. I have the following certifications: ACLS, BLS, Mercy Health Critical Care, NIHSS (Stroke),Train The Trainer, and I am obtaining my CTE Teaching Certification from BGSU. My nursing experience includes medical-surgical, oncology, critical care, and school/public health nursing.  I taught Pediatric/Community Nursing Clinicals for Miami University and now I share my knowledge and passion for patient care as a Health Technology Instructor at Live Oaks. What I love about teaching is watching the students learn and master new skills. The best part of my classroom is that we are very active in our lab. The students work in small groups to create projects and assist each other in practicing the new skills they learn.
