Kyle Kinney

About me:

I am a former Great Oaks student in the Live Oaks Heavy Equipment program.  After graduation from Great Oaks I went on to work in the IUOE (International Union of Operating Engineers), working on various jobs and running various types of equipment in the tri-state area. Then I decide to continue my education and go back to college where I obtained an AS in Civil Engineering/Construction Management, AS in Construction Science and Technology and a BS in Construction Management. I started my own company in 2013 doing small to medium size jobs mainly  during the summer breaks.

I have been in the industry for 10 years and taught part time for five years and full time for another five years.

What I love about teaching is training and teaching the younger generation.

The best part of my classroom is that it's a big kids' sandbox.
