Chris McAlister

About me:

I have been a cosmetologist since 1987. I owned my own salon and had seven employees. In the 35 years I have been in this industry, we learned to mentor and help others grow in their clientele, which brought me to teaching. I started teaching college cosmetology in 2007 and started teaching with Great Oaks in 2016. My passion is in color, haircutting, and customer service. I enjoy teaching students to take their talent and passion into our industry.

What I love about teaching is to mentor and help others grow in their career, and also bring out their natural talent.

The best part of my classroom is teaching my students how to be professional and best of all, have the possibility to become a licensed cosmetologist before graduating!
