The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is designed to teach the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment while promoting self-esteem, teamwork and self discipline.

The program prepares students for responsible leadership roles while creating an awareness of personal rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens.

There is no military obligation for students who enroll in the JROTC program. However, placement credit (higher rank and pay) may be awarded to those who choose to enter any branch of the military.

The Live Oaks JROTC offers field trips to such sites as Gettysburg and Washington DC, as well as participation in a wide range of activities.

Reminder: The Live Oaks cafeteria is cashless; cash is not accepted at checkout during meals or for ala carte items. Students will need to add money to their PaySchools Central App account electronically or by taking cash to their campus registrar prior to mealtime.

Students may charge maximum 3 meals when sufficient funds are not available on their account. Must be paid next day. No charging of additional entrees, or ala carte while account is in the negative.
