Mary Ann Horne

About me:

I am a graduate of the Live Oaks Child Care Program. In my senior year I was on job placement an early learning child care center. I continued to work there while attending college for elementary education. After college I taught first grade for five years and then moved to fifth grade. I was then contacted by Great Oaks for a position in an early literacy program in which I served as Director, Preschool Teacher and Parent Educator. After 7 years I then become an Early Childhood Education Instructor.

What I love about teaching seeing students build their self-esteem and their passion develop through learning the knowledge and skills.

The best part of my classroom is watching the High School Students and Preschool Students learn together!
