Education and experience:

Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with Minors in Strength and Conditioning and Coaching from Alfred University
Masters in Education from Wright State University

Credentials:
Certified Athletic Trainer
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer
National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist

Prior to teaching I served as the Director of Athletic Training Programs for Forme Sports Medicine, where I worked with multiple levels, from high school to professional athletes as a strength and conditioning coach and athletic trainer. I then moved to Vermont and worked at the Vermont Orthopaedic Center as a Physician Extender where I saw patients daily and worked with athletes, including professional and Olympic level athletes.

I currently continue to work as an athletic trainer for Beacon Orthopaedics.

This is my tenth year teaching, and I have been working in the exercise science and sports medicine industry for about 15 years.

I enjoy helping students explore the various sports medicine career fields and figuring out what field they are good at and passionate about as they pursue their careers, as well as working together to achieve our educational, career, and fitness goals.
