What Great Oaks Career Campuses students say about their school.
GO Day in Life 2015

Great Oaks is right for you–especially if you:

Want to get a head start on a career and college.  Great Oaks students earn certifications that allow them to begin a career as soon as they graduate; they also can earn college credit in both academic and technical classes.

Enjoy learning with your hands as well as your mind.  About half of your school day will be spent in a lab learning and practicing skills.

Are ready to make new friends.  One of the toughest choices that many students make is whether to leave the familiarity of their home school to attend a Great Oaks campus.  Students at Great Oaks spend much of their time with the same small group of students in their career program—students who have the same interests.  Academic classes and other activities also offer the chance to meet new people.  Friendships made here can last a lifetime.

Want to maintain ties with old friends.  Great Oaks students are often surprised to realize that, even as they make new friends and learn new skills, they can—and often do—stay active in activities, sports, clubs, and musical groups at their home schools.

Learn from professionals.  Many Great Oaks career-technical instructors had successful careers in their field before deciding to teach.  You’ll learn about real-world conditions from people with experience.  Each program also has an advisory board made up of business and industry professionals, so you’ll have contact with potential employers as you learn.

Want to succeed.  You are important, and the instructors and staff at each of our campuses are ready to work with you to be successful whether you choose a career, college, or both after you finish your Great Oaks education.
